Hi guys! I customer in the USA (I'm in .ar) bought this server:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130099427566&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D130099427566%2B%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1
On first boot with livecd, it stalled on "Copying read-write contents to /tmpfs". Then we started
trying different livecd options (doscsi, noapic, ide=nodma, nodetect, nocache etc).
So far, doscsi allowed to go past that stage, but we found a kernel panic:
SQUASHFS error: zlib_fs returned unexpected result 0xfffffffd
SQUASHFS error: Unable to read page, block 562788, size 90fd
SQUASHFS error: zlib_fs returned unexpected result 0xfffffffd
SQUASHFS error: Unable to read page, block 562788, size 90fd
SQUASHFS error: zlib_fs returned unexpected result 0xfffffffd

Any ideas?

Did a quick google and found:
http://lists.us.dell.com/pipermail/linux-poweredge/2003-May/007682.html < suggests smp-acpi doscsi cdcache as boot options, but this is a Poweredge 6400.
The gentoo wiki page is a bit.... empty (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Dell_PowerEdge_6450) might want to add some stuff if you get this working?
Hope this goes some way to help.

So far, it seems the problem is related to the fact that the CD-ROM drive is SCSI, and plugged to
the Adaptec controller (aic7xxx) the server has.
Any kernel command line parameters you think could help me out here?
