Just to make sure I understand, are you trying to play mp3's you ripped from cd's, or are these other files you already have? Are you able to play the mp3 files themselves? If you go to http://creativecommons.org/audio and download an mp3, does it play properly? Or, is it that mp3's are fine, but when you convert them to something else, problems occur? I.E.
