However, emerge -puDNv world shows the new x11-xorg blocked by xorg-x11-6.9. I don't understand this, as I have xorg-x11-6.8.2-r8 installed. OK, the new meta-package may be very nice, but I really don't want to compile all the drivers for devices I don't have on my system.
