Hi folks!
I`m currently turning one of my boxes into a cd/dvd/mp3/whatever-player.
I already installed freevo, mplayer, xine and everything, and it works
great.
The only problem is: the TV-Out of the used Rage128 only works with the
standard Vesa-driver. When playing low-res files such as vcd this is not
much of a problem. But when i try to play a dvd the cpu-usage climbs up
to 100% due to software scaling, which is not really acceptable for an
xp 2000+...
So here is my Question:
Does anyone know how to use an accelerated driver with the TV-Out of my
card?
relevant system specs:
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128
RF/SG AGP
[ebuild R ] x11-base/xorg-x11-6.8.2-r2 -3dfx +3dnow +bitmap-fonts -cjk
-debug -dlloader -dmx -doc -font-server -insecure-drivers +ipv6 -minimal
+mmx +nls -nocxx +opengl +pam +sdk +sse -static +truetype-fonts
+type1-fonts (-uclibc) -xprint +xv 0 kB
Thanks in advance
