Subject: [gentoo-user] Error compiling 2.6.9
Date: Tue, 7 Dec 2004 14:08:20 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <41536B85000D9857@ims3e.cp.tin.it> (raw)
Issuing a "make" command to build a 2.6.9 (-r9) kernel I got the following
error:
...............................
AS arch/i386/lib/getuser.o
CC arch/i386/lib/memcpy.o
CC arch/i386/lib/strstr.o
CC arch/i386/lib/usercopy.o
AR arch/i386/lib/lib.a
GEN .version
CHK include/linux/compile.h
UPD include/linux/compile.h
CC init/version.o
LD init/built-in.o
LD .tmp_vmlinux1
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 139
What does it mean? What shall I do to fix it?
Ciao
Vittorio
