Subject: [gentoo-user] slot conflict on consolkit -- how to resolve?
Date: Sun, 11 Oct 2009 05:34:34 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3430.1255253674@ccs.covici.com> (raw)
I am trying to upgrade to the gnome overlay and I get the following slot
conflict:
!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been
pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:
sys-auth/consolekit:0
('installed', '/', 'sys-auth/consolekit-0.4.1', 'nomerge') pulled in
by
sys-auth/consolekit[-policykit] required by ('installed', '/',
'sys-apps/hal-0.5.13-r2', 'nomerge')
(and 5 more)
('ebuild', '/', 'sys-auth/consolekit-0.4.1', 'merge') pulled in by
sys-auth/consolekit[policykit] required by ('ebuild', '/',
'gnome-base/gdm-2.28.0', 'merge')
(and 5 more)
Any way to resolve this so I can get the gnome 2.28 overlay to come in?
I know I am on the bleeding edge here!
Thanks much.
