Hi,
I couldn't start my XWindow after doing a "emerge --update --deep --newuse
world" on my gentoo vm. It just complained "undefined symbol:
PictureScreenPrivateIndex" and it appeared my old xorg-server 1.4.x didn't
have such a problem.
Here is the startx log.
