Considering there have been almost 6000 commits to the repository in the la= st 21 days, I would question that claim. https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-commits/threads/2020-04/ gentoo-dev isn't really filled with any sort aggression. There is he= althy debate, especially considering the recent switch to Python 3.7 and maskin= g of most 3.6-only packages, but that rigorous scrutiny is a requirement for su= ch a strong distro. There have, of course, been exceptions, such as when bman went o= n an "unsanctioned Python crusade" (removal of all Python 2 packages; not= the greatest of ideas), however in general, the Gentoo community is one of the = most alive and healthy I've seen in any Linux distribution. https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/6e8d816eb0125d6581be70f57527= 2653 --=20 Ashley Dixon suugaku.co.uk 2A9A 4117 DA96 D18A 8A7B B0D2 A30E BF25 F290 A8AA --htzsoma2ii4klw4x Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEEKpralop7ow7ykEEX0Yqw0r8lqKoFAl6fKTUACgkQ0Yqw0r8l qKpBnQ/+J3kxRCChMOdX8MiFd+VgquQbC9YKogUqyHPRy6OvhABagixmvLAD/kja JRSuHqHCHlfkKerRzOHoxVnj0Dz2Z7vXhy7HIIvaVaZpwRDbWPaV4ZCk+/Qo9Sl/ LcmeTKo7ubaadvGvmGKlCi8KVUxU9rgec4+u94w3jlzov5iENFuQh9FOotKwaCkl YlDWXM2xwYPxAxyzEFrIt1h8+cXPhN1hPsl2ZJMW3mR85pnZRw4CM43LcGKrSbuM 2K5ydwlx0rXOQDzSPIU5bin3JkwU0xTC93QXbvZdjd55tTZZBiOcdv25oryZ4VWx SQgs+GYmZ8J1GBitW11AMNjY5fzQnI6LjWZWimIHbe+Peuwx9W/7g25TwsdFcvlJ 2SDTK+E4CIDXSNv2GXsLytE/H2xHXlckqv7hzru0+4payL4g1iYJCZWL9UzqZhl2 ZBfyMjWRR8fq1QXcPcOpe8kP0eeMXrEkoeiiBWB0/L0VU02qop7cKG8WspAqB1rn SsNKLpoCJJeL8MVdZOI6/rDfoobiw8kflaFtLcYcuGfPix+Dli4PYgFd9oCEKNbc cKuULNmwbPdMgf6+d6jzUyMBVqDx1AHWt65JYUbb7PjC/sQViX4HvoAGRqstHj+R i1RvvQ+IX9PClMK0uq9xMmMjqFp/gT9EziP4kw86K/W5pmm8kDo= =QAqH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --htzsoma2ii4klw4x--
