This is with Seamonkey, but should work with standard Firefox... 1) Set up a separate profile for Youtube, and disable the Flash plugin only for that profile (never thought I'd say that). 2) If a video won't play, remove "&hd=1" at the end of the URL. That sometimes helps. 3) Warning... bleeding edge & crash-prone.
