Gotchas await. Well, the man page doesn't describe why it can't keep old builds... (don't know what you referring too) I do know `emerge -b` creates binary packages, but i orginally asked for a way to keep older versions of binary packages. Example: emerge -b =3Dnet-analyzer/tcpdump-4.5.1-r1=20 - binary package for tcpdump-4.5.1-r1 gets created emerge -b =3Dnet-analyzer/tcpdump-4.6.2 - binary package for tcpdump-4.6.2 gets created AND tcpdump-4.5.1-r1 gets deleted However, I want to keep tcpdump-4.5.1-r1 if possible. Is there a way? Simply emerge -b isn't sufficiency. >=20 > --=20 > Alan McKinnon > alan.mckinnon@gmail.com >=20 >=20 --=20 greetings Michael Mair-Keimberger --MGYHOYXEY6WxJCY8 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJUamyuAAoJEEle3Ga+Q7MDmm8QALWw7mXbu8OIXrddzR01Kw+r zmqRvYueAYXpSOvSiPHY0YnvBAt4zK/OUeDNAlrhv9Layo0yPd5H+NoMYkrQKlOS UnCOf3oXEyDRLgscZvd2nJ/2FasISk+qry16RzSnaXUeKTaob0QHeOuEOcUn73O6 BRuXOqF0H3ubnn+vON18XWIo4eGxxWrnsOvQu1OuXL12rfFATDYpBM+xR/4NLkhf ROd2ZJPkoGfhwnhUQhXgu+5B/rHzMIvgMEx8PDZyLy8zZOullQJa1avyyAP9Rv/c OpQ/lx9hgcpLBvnfB1AudhZ3l3u99Ljpvtxx+ZqPvwh9mhH/KwlEn6r6V6kQ4w01 +xbSJmVC6vtwJrcdaM05XBHPLjuVH67nFGJRQeIuqL2drR/dJUQFCIs2F8MXIPKp Enck8fhjMM5p0+/EN7N1t1CQX7dBukSMVYFwk4lIjQliurjffsFokNYLFAhmloGz TTPhvAXBV/hCJDM+Lm79O3VAzWHdwcRC5inKStTgpENiv8jjrUEKlfthy3+eZmKR k/6MQ24kA7mhJljwg6X1pwQUid1pLKzXIibI1k6KxBhrmI3f7Nv9pPMLWg+Vj8AH 1kIeWSu1kce1VwaElRvjXBTRXAXTW8FdWTnlJSZ9+AYZEwe95P3wz7w6xKdOv0FI D2Rj0m93GMYIRtZ2rGCV =TahI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --MGYHOYXEY6WxJCY8--
