As Volker posted since you don't even get a "records in" / "records out" fr= om=20 dd, it seems that it is the first block. You can verify with badblocks -c = 1 =20 =2De 1 -o my_bad_blocks.txt if this is so. The mkswap -c command will identify and mark the badblock so that this is n= ot=20 used again for allocating data to it. =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart1989975.5RBnkPxBj6 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAABCAAGBQJT057AAAoJELAdA+zwE4Ye3RoH/iQnXmghFph47pgHXJgp1iRx zfOOTFOCDRz5y4l7P32gjeIPB9Rg1igOnodqgowp4QmnkXoC6rEIuqQ5FDLxrmQ3 O8rJHaNRjuD/EcFb0yUbC9xJt8lJcgQayRDO8GTLbqDpTcSr0h0/Q9e806vj0IiJ odrGFe4KyGUiIV6JV2jouJyf6qbFowIeG8qrCIk3QUCSRdD1EbbhnPTgvCg9o9TM RMbomL/byOuXZgU8l6IJ8fUER8Kb08iLRhkNhzZkkBNr/GVsvf8WLdIMzNqQTtws 0XuN6AmqXxRym4w34X4aVau/a9Q7XW/n+1anX0UoNErF9+GU0ZfeLogn6XDTHpc= =VrRe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1989975.5RBnkPxBj6--
