Thanks Tom! It used to be the case that setting -gnome globally would be sufficient,=20 without having to manually mask packages. I had gstreamer in pidgin to be= =20 able to get sound. I'm guessing that I need gstreamer in pidgin to be able= to=20 set up a voice call in gtalk. Is it the case that now one has to install gnome-base to be able to use=20 gstreamer? =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart1402551.0242HgoR21 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAABAgAGBQJSowBlAAoJELAdA+zwE4YeubUIAJBQG9VKXf0b6OmOetlI+19W jqVGPcGSuzeqw/VHvVBoZU2v1Lod1nAnwNuIFSm+xvlZft/puThnf2CTrVzx33ZW IIOh5PfRVAHA6brlPW9V8XN0XVVJCJ5TLddIp1cLZjTHewISQFMcAh1U9RRJZfoX Q2IvBoTbh1McwhY8l1VQEBg29oWsOC7J/o8Nwfmpy2TPZdgaFMu0apBVMNTCd52v k2POQEKCM+aR/NvyLBDEtk8oXVKeeLGP5GF5AweGfNPwQEwQRGXQc6qsjNTjt3eN bKsGCoojhcoaEgKTlfQBPgAktGmYq6J7rmY26EaYPmaVl7DaAdAHEzdTUPGHik4= =n/Yq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1402551.0242HgoR21--
