With metadata 0.90 I can see the= =20 same partitions I set up on /dev/md0, also on /dev/sda and /dev/sdb. The o= nly=20 problem now is that the Ubuntu server CD wants to format /dev/sda2 as swap = and=20 fails at that stage. :-/ Not sure how to by-pass this. I may also try metadata=3D1.0 to see if this makes a difference, which also= =20 positions the RAID data superblock at the end of the device: Sub-Version Superblock Position on Device =2D---------- ----------------------------- 0.9 At the end of the device 1.0 At the end of the device 1.1 At the beginning of the device 1.2 4K from the beginning of the device =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart1980814.NIpdyJtjLI Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAABAgAGBQJSZLzKAAoJELAdA+zwE4Ye9rwH/ihBv5svZkSGRPz8YfN43cs6 F91Tzt3AyEfWTk+9T09MmwXp5Oop3fCb98flJMaFOu47lvQQE+0uGPuiOvNXBtpC OeZHWFe7Bi5qURLphkWGLmTEOP0+TpiTimyrZ5+FYPtAR5X9Sy43fKh1bKtt4M6h CIVggkyczztZuPkMq1Da38FGjcxWmuvBvdHawr13IeSyWPn/ElCdiXkCeIwpvkHW dInMSGZku87qob9aRmuqffsHHehKuNyXbb0tZWPez49m6OVRXqXzbPlAl+CE+b8v h3Oo5/tiFLdL37rWd3N3UJcSfFi29FjreR/HCFCLF4liZur1k1OPU5vtIBnKi8U= =jGOF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1980814.NIpdyJtjLI--
