Hi,

I've got a mysterious (at least to me ;) effect on system:
When playing DVDs with different players (vlc/mplayer)
video and audio seem to be ok.
With one exception:
I only /see/ the actors moving their mouths...there his
not a single voice audible.
Background sound and everything else is fine.

I tried to increase the volume of "all suspicious"
levels of alsamixer and checked for muted channels
but no success.

I recompiled mplayer and vlc -- no effect.

System:
Linux 3.10.12 #1 SMP PREEMPT x86_64 AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
media-libs/alsa-lib 1.0.27.2 (-alisp -debug -doc -python ABI_MIPS="-n32 -n64 -o32" ABI_X86="64 -32 -x32" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python2_7" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7")
and two simple speakers (stereo) via simple earphone jack

What is going on here? ;)

Thank you very much for any help in advance!
mcc
