This one reason why the udev developers believe that having /usr physically separate from / is "broken". No error messages from udev or any of its scripts are logged. Perhaps dmesg logging is "broken" too. > par for the course - run an initramfs (complexity) means more WILL go > wrong so ways to fix it for normal users need to be in place.. Yes, it is a chore, debugging an initramfs. --=20 Regards, Dave [RLU #314465] =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D dwnoon@ntlworld.com (David W Noon) =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D --Sig_/owYJz.CTKI.555N1CsQ+ksP Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk91jLMACgkQ9MqaUJQw2MnEOACeJce+RT7Lo3lHUDTnr11GmMGB hlwAnA2R/wUUoRJPNm2gUTyogBHm2o9K =wzn7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/owYJz.CTKI.555N1CsQ+ksP--
