Why waste time making & sorting > through CDs, etc? I'm coming to this late, but floppies should just work=E2=84=A2 and show up= under=20 /dev/fd0 or /dev/floppy. I've got an old laptop which has a bay for CDROM = or=20 floppy and was able to access a floppy only a couple of months ago. With f= luxbox=20 and no automounting I had to run pmount or mount (can't recall now). The only historical problem I recall is when running grub prompt at grub=20 installation time which could spend an inordinate amount of time probing th= e=20 floppy (using --no-floppy sorts this out). =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart4089792.PFC6hlOWh8 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (GNU/Linux) iEYEABECAAYFAk8lnb8ACgkQVTDTR3kpaLaaxACgq9lJDY1KoUVpc9T5nN0VrcCD gvEAoIEnFNeEG2+NnB/GZ5GlnNZUV3Be =YLbS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart4089792.PFC6hlOWh8--
