Most of the time, there's no need. There are times when a package is updated and needs a config update immediately after or you could end up with the new program being called with the old config. Binary installs mean you have a better idea of when that will need to be done. It's not a big issue, but I already have the binary build setup so adding one more host was a simple matter of creating a directory for the chroot and adding the host name to an existing script. How long did the initial install take on the Geode? I installed to the chroot on the build host in the first place then rsynced everything across. --=20 Neil Bothwick WWW: World Wide Wait --Sig_/Q4jQGbl.iNAAu0S79svpU./ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.18 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk5M1owACgkQum4al0N1GQMIigCg2x5xEEXbta8Q3ic5+EwKHxsG JcgAn0y43irxG08pI0JtkTsS/GrxVYJv =TwGw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/Q4jQGbl.iNAAu0S79svpU./--
