[gentoo-user] delete acces point with wicd

Hello

I am in a wifi network currently, the newtork provider say to me to choose the 
best accespoint and to delete the others. If I don't do that, my computer is 
always jumping between differents accesspoint.

I use wicd to manage internet connexion.

How can I deal it ?

Edit /etc/wicd/wireless-settings.conf and remove the stanzas for the
wireless points you no longer want.

No way to do this without root acces ? In graphics ?

There doesn't appear to be an option to do this in the client, even if
there were it would still need to use su/sudo to modify a root-only file.

You could file a feature request for the delete option.
