The fact is that, out of the classical options (kernel custom, KDE battery= =20 management...), there's no information about disk mount options, whereas it= =20 eat a lot of power. my current mount : rootfs on / type rootfs (rw) /dev/root on / type ext3 (rw,commit=3D0) /dev/shm on /tmp type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev) /dev/sda7 on /var type reiserfs (rw) /dev/sda8 on /media/musique type vfat (rw,uid=3D0,gid=3D18,umask=3D007) /dev/sda2 on /windows type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=3D4= 096) /dev/sda6 on /home type ext4 (rw,user_xattr,commit=3D0) and sda5 as swap. how to make it better ? (I know reiserfs is not a good idea, but at the mom= ent=20 of building the system, it seamed good for little files/DB...) I have read of mounting part of /var as tmpfs... ? =2D-=20 St=C3=A9phane Guedon page web : http://www.22decembre.eu/ carte de visite : http://www.22decembre.eu/downloads/Stephane-Guedon.vcf cl=C3=A9 publique gpg : http://www.22decembre.eu/downloads/Stephane-Guedon.= asc --nextPart1634568.DdHdJB8CNx Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.16 (GNU/Linux) iJwEAAECAAYFAk1yFPEACgkQPJH+in8bwIMGMQP/a0N+TZ7lhrCCf3pcIhiWP+XH jegFtlPNtJRoRQpNw8FU5o4qhyxVOdLG0876D1VZ6em4zuyB5daX5328vu0SURtS JGxPa7XZTnImrTKxGvfSriFJ9ZkpYLGRTR7jbULRrJWxM43i1Uu/MOyjyUKQkw5u y5lc7wlE6oa9pHOQy1M= =LlYB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1634568.DdHdJB8CNx--
