In case of priting with KDE applications you may be hit by this bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309901 To make the the solution i applied at my installation short: copy /usr/portage/net-print/cups/files/pdftops-1.20.gentoo to /usr/libexec/cups/filter/pdftops After that restart cupsd. According to the bug report this seems to work is the package "poppler" is also installed - which the case at my installation. Hope that helps. regards Petric
