I do know `man less`, `man more`, etc., and output redirection to file. Heck, I'm even old enough to know Ctl+S and Ctl+Q, as I used to program PDP-11s back in the 1970s. But none of those addresses the fundamental issue of sitting there watching all this crap. Hence I normally use fcron or at to run my emerge jobs in the background, which, as a fringe benefit, gives me easily scrollable output in my MUA. --=20 Regards, Dave [RLU #314465] =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D dwnoon@ntlworld.com (David W Noon) =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D --Sig_/22av19FIANLLeZEkdEQxy4_ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.14 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkuenJkACgkQ9MqaUJQw2MmsiACeL4I/cs8zZujAb3KDklytvp+9 J3cAmgK0jqZzbz+LT+0winknQTekufPG =OAzW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/22av19FIANLLeZEkdEQxy4_--
