A synaptics? I had that too. Really annoying. Annoying enough for me to blacklist the touchpad. Also, if I brushed it with my thumb my accident I would get about fifty '^[G' sequences dumped into Konsole. And all the problems just magically went away with 2.6.28 -- alan dot mckinnon at gmail dot com
