Meanwhile I have found out how to enable composite (and 2D and 3D acceleration) with my graphics chipset. Now I'd like to re-compile KDE with composite enabled. Anybody in the know *what* parts of KDE I have to re-emerge? (Wouldn't like to do the whole thing.)
