Wouldn't Knoppix= =20 with its Firefox and equivalents do the job for you, after you set root and= =20 knoppix passwds? BTW, Konqueror will also work with many banking sites, bu= t=20 you may need to change the browser agent identification, treatment of cooki= es=20 and so on.
