Should I reinstall everything? I don't know what's wrong here. /sbin/rc calls the function 'start' in line 400, which can be found in /etc/init.d/checkroot. This file is sourced in line 388 of /sbin/rc, so it should be known. Strange. What happens if you try to execute "/etc/init.d/checkroot" by hand? Were all config files updated already?
