For valid values, peek inside of the # /usr/share/zoneinfo/ directory. For example, some common values are # "America/New_York" or "EST5EDT" or "Europe/Berlin". TIMEZONE="GB" For NTP I followed the instructions in http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_NTP. I hope this helps. -- ##### ## ### ###### /### ### /# / / ### ## / / / ### ## / / ## ## ## ## ## /### ## #### ## ## ## ## / ### / ## ### / ## paul@pkami.e7even.com /### ## / / ###/ ## ###/ ## mobile: 07972184336 / ### ## / ## ## ## ## ## ## ######/ ## ## ## ## ## ## ###### ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## /# ## /# ## ## ## ####/ ## ######/ ## ### / ## ## ## ### ## ##### ## ##/ ### # / ### / #####/ ### Linux paul-gentoo 2.6.22-gentoo-r5 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
