How can I redirect /dev/console to an actual tty (preferably tty6 or tty12)
in order to have system info showing on it in real time ?
I'd like to have a line like
*.* /dev/console
in syslog.conf.

I use
*.* /dev/tty12
and get everything on tty12, but perhaps I didn't understand your
question.
