Hi list
When trying to set up Xinerama on my Lenovo 3000 v100 0763-46G notebook, X
does not start. In the log it says: "(EE) I810(1): Set VBE Mode failed!"
(Entire log and xorg.conf: see attachment) I adapted the xorg.conf from
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Intel_Graphics_Media_Accelerator_950 . I tried
replace="'4d 1280 800 24'" in /etc/con.d/915resolution because this was
suggested in some forum post, but it did not help either.
Does anyone have an idea how I could Xinerama get to work?
Gian

Have you tried without these two lines?
| Option "MonitorLayout" "CRT,LFP"
| Option "DevicePresence" "true"

Thanks for the suggestion, but if I remove them it says you have to have a
MonitorLayout option. The solution was to plug the monitor only right before
X starts.
