Hello,
I installed Gentoo Linux 2006.1 by a network installation from the minimal ISO CD.
But my problem is that I don't find out how I could set a domainname for my machine?
The hostname is set at: /etc/conf.d/hostname
acmp5 conf.d # cat hostname
# /etc/conf.d/hostname
# Set to the hostname of this machine
HOSTNAME="acmp5"
But where I can set the domainname?
When I type the domainname or dnsdomain command I get:
acmp5 conf.d # domainname
(none)
acmp5 conf.d # dnsdomainname
Does somebody knows how I could set it?
Best regards,
saf
