Some drivers are= =20 not that good at re-associating. In that case you may have to modprobe -r= =20 and then reload the driver, or unplug/replug the WiFi device if it is a=20 USB/cardbus. If you engage in the noble sport of wardriving then y= ou=20 will need to use a good device that has well developed drivers in Linux. I= =20 am not aware of a daemon that performs this function in parallel to the WiF= i=20 device driver, sort of a ifplugd for wireless, but others may know better. =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart24018888.I4af5vTydf Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBGIJRL5Fp0QerLYPcRAlTaAJ9diviVP4IBRSV4SUa6MWJ7DHATgQCeOcp1 ssycmf8KBhEbfOg98W98xxg= =xCcA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart24018888.I4af5vTydf-- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
