[gentoo-user] swiching from gnome to gnome-light

Hi!

I am planning of switching from gnome to gnome-light. How can I unmerge gnome and in particular remove all packages like games, gnumeric, abiword and so on. I found that I actually do not use them so I think gnome-light should be enough.

emerge -C gnome
emerge gnome-light
emerge -a --depclean

Some Monday humour. Actually, it should be more like:

emerge -C gnome
emerge gnome-light
emerge -a --depclean
come_back_to_here:
	revdep-rebuild -i
	emerge -a --depclean
	if error_count!=0 then
		goto come_back_to_here
	else
		break
	endif
