Would you care to explain or point me to some relevant= =20 links. How is one meant to mount a USB stick when on a console? A long time ago I created relevant entries in my fstab, because back then=20 automounting was quite involved and a tad unstable. I have still some=20 entries like: # Flash Card /dev/sda /mnt/sda auto, vfat, msdos noauto, user, noatime 0 0 /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1 auto, vfat, msdos noauto, user, noatime 0 0 to be able to mount USB pen drives manually. However, because of these fst= ab=20 entries when I automount them using a GUI (Konqueror), they are mounted=20 under /mnt/sda not under /media/disk. What options do I have? =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart2035798.smTYcLhaO3 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBF3iQb5Fp0QerLYPcRAjbFAJ0bTugaG2zjSqmNhyPVKBQV69UeWACfa8nm f+gAaoXP98o7btDZ6pK4pcw= =Ro5q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2035798.smTYcLhaO3-- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
