Hello Everyone,

I am running the latest Gentoo sources (I believe 2.6.18-r6) for my
architecture (amd64).  I've emerged Firefox about three times, and it
has never shown up in the menus (under any option).  Seamonkey will show
up on both, and I haven't tried Thunderbird yet.

I was just hoping that someone here has had this problem and knows how
to fix it.

try to check the files that were installed by the mozilla-firefox package if 
there is a file with suffix ".desktop" for example with: 

equery files mozilla-firefox | grep desktop

If there is one, with KDE kappfinder you should be able to find it and add it 
to the menu structure of KDE ...
