Hmm.. I am using paludis on my systems and I know I wouldn't like to go bac= k.=20 It isn't officially supported by Gentoo yet and it won't be until there is = a=20 written down definition of what is allowed and what is disallowed in ebuild= s.=20 So filing a bug saying this package doesn't work with paludis will be ignor= ed=20 by at least some of the Gentoo devs. Whether you should move or not I'll leave up to you. Following ciaranm.org = or=20 even planetpaludis.org should allow you to decide for yourself... Just make= =20 sure to read the docs at paludis.org if you want to try it. Effort is being= =20 put into making paludis compatible with portage so it's not necessarily a o= ne=20 way street. It's config files aren't compatible though. =2D-=20 Bo Andresen --nextPart4661020.pz4myiOPpr Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFukSe8/kKEzmwNNoRAr3KAJkBSbkOenBzj6y8Hp1yA+Ih4Pj26wCfawca QxS5NoVokPEhCn3W8zpgJ00= =xJYr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart4661020.pz4myiOPpr-- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
