Last time I tried it didn't work with gxine, or xine. As far as I can reca= ll=20 the reason was that this website is using active-x scripting to establish a= =20 SSL connection and the Linux apps/plugins do not (yet) have a way of parsin= g=20 that. Otherwise, either xine or mplayer will happily play wmp streams. It= =20 may be more complicated than what I am alluding to above, but that's as far= =20 as my understanding could take me. ;-) You could always write to the website master/admin and ask them to provide = you=20 with a link that works without active-x, but they are such an exclusive=20 M$haft shop I'd wager you get a "we do not support anything else than Billy= =20 Gate's shareholders . . ." type of response. =2D-=20 Regards, Mick --nextPart1743307.q0IRyEZPyy Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFPG3P5Fp0QerLYPcRAmzAAJ9zH5S1leonF/zgxPRbhIqf+RH4zgCdHP32 +O+FiJ4C/BA92C8o3vbbEf8= =3TCX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1743307.q0IRyEZPyy-- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
