Hi!

I ran emerge -vp dvdrip and got:

[ebuild     U ] media-video/dvdrip-0.98.1 [0.97.10] USE="(-cdr%) fping%* (-gnome%*) hal%* (-minimal%) mplayer ogg (-rar%*) -subtitles -vcd% vorbis%* -xine% xvid" 0 kB

Why are some of those USE flags, like cdr or gnome, set in brackets, like
so: (-cdr%)?
