I just finished doing an emerge sync and the only package that fails a deep world update is gnumeric. The 80 megs of downloads was painful on dialup. My ADSL combo router/modem died on me, and I have one on order, but for the next few days, I'll be slumming it. The machine is an AMD64 K8, but running exclusively 32-bit mode.
