Mine looks pretty much the same except that it detects the remote. Firmware 
gets loaded, all drivers get loaded, no errors.

Meanwhile I do have audio but very very faint if i raise everything to maximum 
(mixer, speaker amplifier, ivtvctl). 

I don't know. Maybe the hardware is fried.
