You could install the older packages individually, but it will take a
while, especially if you used the split ebuilds. This will remove all but
the latest version of every KDE package.
equery --quiet --nocolor list kde-base/ | awk '{print $1}' \
| sed 's/-3\..*//' | xargs emerge --prune --pretend
