Normally you just install those as normal. 32 bit binaries usually run on AMD64 without modification. For example, I have openoffice-bin, firefox-bin and vmware-workstation, all 32 bit packages, running on this amd64 box. The chroot is only needed if you want to build 32 bit binaries. --=20 Neil Bothwick Why is there an expiration date on sour cream? --Sig_WaqowO1vOPRhB_qWsl/zf1G Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDeFi9um4al0N1GQMRAhT6AKC+ym0xIRzLy6LTtqLHO9uRSJX3sgCfXyfX B/GR/PrMOawwcEiVp+tuV2o= =XR1H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_WaqowO1vOPRhB_qWsl/zf1G-- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
