Hi,
I'm running Gentoo 2005.0 with gentoo-sources (2.6.12) on an AMD Athlon 64.
I'am using alsa-driver. Sound is working with mplayer and with xmms even
using the arts plugin. But it is not working in kde.
Why ?

Hello!
Today I found problems with arts.
I cannot use it and I tried to configure another time from kcontrol but
when I push apply I read this messagges from console:
unix_connect: can't connect to server
(unix:/tmp/mcop-pinna/Barbara_localdomain-206a-41633851)
unable to connect to sound server
I tried to change permission but I don't understand the right values...
Now I removed all files from /tmp/mcop-pinna/ but I continue to receive
the message unable to connect to sound server.
Someone can help me?
