I don't know if the behaviour has changed, but I guess that=20 noone has changed alsaconf itself. I have the following lines in my modules file: alias /dev/mixer snd-mixer-oss alias /dev/dsp snd-pcm-oss alias /dev/midi snd-seq-oss AFAIK it is necessary to have OSS emulation enabled in the=20 kernel.
