Subject: [gentoo-user] Cant track down problem / xorg related
Date: Sat, 6 Aug 2005 07:18:05 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200508060718.06146.mar@ml.lv> (raw)

Hi, this will be long one

Something about two weeks I cant solve problem of slow starting X11 (now I
have kde, gnome and xfce4) and apps start with long delays, CPU load between
80-100%, except for xmms, fglrx apps (gears, control).

If look at clock column bellow, it shows 9 minutes to load KDE

Does anybody see anything worth to dig in? Now I'm completely run out of
ideas. Tried a lof of solutions and now conf files pretty messed up. Was
hoping on Knoppix conf files but my copy has XF86 with different set.
