For my lapt= op with pentium M 1.6g, I set

CFLAGS=3D"-O3 -march=3Dpentium-m = -pipe"

but you might want to keep -O2.... I run ~x86 on it as my testing b= ox,
so I don't mind a little breakage here and there.
