Hi,
is it possible to filter out a package (chromium) from from emerge
world on the commandline? Using files is a pain when I just want to
stop a package building until I am ready to do it.

Sounds like you want to use the "--exclude" option?

Thanks - its in man emerge but doesn't show with --help so I missed it.
