If not, would my best bet be to install Postfix? I tried this in /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf root=ploujj@gmail.com If I do this, I don't see any mail in my gmail inbox. If I don't set it, I keep getting emails from mailer-daemon@googlemail.com saying: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: root@my-local-hostname ----- This is my /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf: mailhub=smtp.gmail.com:587 UseTLS=YES UseSTARTTLS=Yes AuthUser=ploujj AuthPass=gmail-pass FromLineOverride=YES ----- I also learned that /etc/ssmtp/revaliases is not the right place to configure what I want. Is this mailing list a good place to ask this question? Thanks. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
