Hans, I thought that there was a Cylinders/Heads/Sectors entry at the beginning of a FAT formatted floppy (and that a Linux created floppy partition will additionally require zeroing the first 512B using dd for M$Windoze OS to recognise it?) -- Regards, Mick Lycos email has now 300 Megabytes of free storage...
