Hi All,

I just tried my weekly rsync and it failed to find the server:

 * Running emerge --sync

I can't ping it either:

ping rsync.uk.gentoo.org
ping: unknown host rsync.uk.gentoo.org


nslookup rsync.uk.gentoo.org
Server:		10.10.10.1
Address:	10.10.10.1#53

** server can't find rsync.uk.gentoo.org: SERVFAIL


Have you come across the same problem recently?

Yes, I get the same. It worked all right at 04:20 but not now.

Thanks Peter, I get the same error with rsync.europe.gentoo.org too.  However, 
I just tried rsync.de.gentoo.org and it works fine.  Perhaps something is 
amiss with the DNS servers for the UK mirrors?
