Subject: [gentoo-user] poppler - how to update it elegantly?
Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2013 13:55:48 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1380542148.31708.2@numa-i.igpm.rwth-aachen.de> (raw)
Hi, my most hated package is poppler. Each time in the past and now
again it's hard to upgrade.
portage (2.2.7) cannot handle it, so I have to (manually) unmerge all
packages depending on it and emerge them after
the poppler upgrade again.
Has anybody found a more elegant procedure?
Many thanks,
Helmut.
