Subject: [gentoo-user] cups configuration for "dummies"
Date: Tue, 16 Aug 2011 13:50:55 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1313495455.15458.0@numa-i> (raw)

Hi,

I've installed a GenToo system on the PC of a friend which doesn't know
the internals of Linux (GenToo).

At home he has a local network with a printer (probably managed by a
Window system).

Is there an easy means to configure CUPS on his system to find that
printer?

Many thanks for a hint,
Helmut.
